Somewhere in the folder hierarchy is a folder called Freeze Files, which contains the AIFF recordings of your last freeze. Copy these to another folder, and import them into Audacity as separate tracks. You can also import them into any other audio software that allows AIFF import, which is a pretty common feature. Mar 06, 2020  GarageBand for iPad: GarageBand allows you to record, make arrangements and mix music, and share it later with everyone. GarageBand includes a complete recording studio, a set of instruments and effects with professional quality and a huge library of prerecorded sounds that you can use in your projects. Feb 15, 2017  I was able to import the file from email to the iPad app AnyTunes. It seems like the GarageBand inter app audio might be able to import from Anytune, but it gets too complicated. In GarageBand, I can push the + to create a new project, the MP3 shows up in my CloudDrive, but import doesn't do anything.

Hello Christian Labbé, Was wondering if you speak French with a nice French name like Labbé? Thank you for your speedy reply. No my files are not on my mac. They are inside the sequencer of my Korg PA 50 keyboard (the keyboard has a floppy disk drive into which I save my songs). Therein lies part of my problem. Don't know how to get them properly into Garage Band. Have tried sending them through midi as well as loading them into my mac using an external floppy disk drive. When I look at my Garage Band song, that accompanyment appears only on a single Garage Band track and the resulting sound is terrible and the instruments are indestinguishably jumbled up. For example, a rhythm section style (which I chose from a style bank in the Korg ie: guitar, bass, drum. piano accompanyment, which I can edit, add to or delete from, within the Korg keyboard) won't allow itself (the style that is - with the instruments I just mentioned in it) to be broken down and assigned to individual tracks in Garage Band. Hence the rhythm section is transferred to Garage Band all on one track. Don't know if it s Korg problem or a Garage Band problem. Let me know if you can figure it out, and where to go from there when you have the time. From Le Grands Nords, Thanks.

Mar 26, 2008  Hi Bryan, It is possible to import wav files into GarageBand. You only need to drag and drop the file into your GB timeline. GB can export to AIFF when exporting to iTunes. Then you could convert it to a wav file (iTunes-Preferences-Advanced-Importing-Import using Wav encoder). However, these wav files won't be Broadcast Wave Format. Sometimes you’re on the go and a inspiration strikes. If you have an iPad or iPhone with GarageBand installed, you can tap out a quick drum beat or bassline. That’s cool, but if you are looking to do more with your music, you may want something with a little more power than GarageBand. Say hello to Logic Pro.

Logic Pro is a professional DAW (digital audio workstation). It allows for users and engineers to record, arrange and mix music. What’s very cool is that much of the code in GarageBand is based on Logic. Many of the instruments and effects in GarageBand are scaled down versions of those in Logic, too. This means that you can actually import GarageBand tiles to Logic.

First, tap the “Edit” button on the top-right.

Tap the “Share” icon in the top-left corner of the “My Songs” view of GarageBand.

The application will ask you how you want to share the song “Share Song Via” and you have several choices. Choose iTunes.
